Me

Gaile. I'm seventeen, born and bred in Metro Manila, Philippines. Currently a sophomore at De La Salle University - Manila, taking up International Studies Major in European Studies. I turn a year older every fifth of January and I'm not too excited about being officially an adult next year.

I am pretty much a weird, awkward mess. I basically have a moody demeanor or maybe I'm just a walking mass of paradoxes, contradictions and clashing emotions. Just like everyone else, I'm not perfect, but I try my best to become a better version of myself each and every chance I get. Even for tumblr standards, I am quite shy and socially awkward. Nonetheless, I love getting messages and making new friends. I almost always follow back, but be warned because it might take me a while. Life likes to get in the way, but you can always go to my ask and I'll check your blog.

Complaining and procrastinating are things I often do, but I get things done, most of the time, in a very slow pace. There are times when the odds just aren't in my favor, but I deal with it as best as I can. Still, I am prone to struggling, ranting, over thinking and being emotionally unstable - a.k.a being human. Most of the time I have a negative outlook, but I'm really trying to see the good in things. I like to think of myself as strong and unstoppable, a fighter with a fierce soul. And really, it's those kinds of thoughts that keep me going. One day, I'll give you a reason to remember my name.

Existing since the 13th of March, 2010, this blog pretty much represents everything about me - my life, my interests and my creations. You'll find a variety of fandoms, funny things, gorgeous people and a few of my personal thoughts. I time travel through my posts and all roads lead you to knowing more about me.

I believe that words are one of the most beautfiul and powerful things in the world, and these are the ones I live by:

I enjoy:

  • Making lists such as this one.
  • Reading books, manga, fanfiction, comic books - you name it.
  • Listening to different genres of music, even songs in other languages.
  • Playing video games and cursing every time I die.
  • Watching films, tv shows and anime.
  • Screaming my lungs out and moshing at concerts.
  • Making and editing stuff at photoshop.
  • Discovering new things (especially fandoms) and finding inspiration/motivation
  • Buying new books, concert tickets, clothes and food.

Pet Peeves:

  • Seeing sentences like - "I love FOODS" or "Finished packing my STUFFS". Basically those words being used in the wrong way.
  • Having cigarette smoke blown in my face.
  • Failure, disappointment and making mistakes. These are the things I find hard to deal with.
  • Feeling like I'm not good enough.
  • Post Concert Depression.
  • Shipping/Fandom Wars
  • When characters I like get hurt, or worse, die.
  • Overspending
